we'll remember that we were once part of the nation's 45th birthday as the army marching contingent in NDP 2010.

there were tough and unhappy times, looking at our weekends burnt.

but our efforts paid off with a good show.

now im just looking forward to the high-key events with ndp down, many to go.

when all are over, its a whole lot closer to ORD.

had to miss filming due to participating in the marching contingent for NDP 2010.
its a hard choice to decide.
i love filming but yet marching in NDP is once-in-a-lifetime experience.
but i dont really have a choice either.

looking at it positively, NDP will be over coming this monday.
and all the saturdays will be back.
that will also mean another month had passed.
leaving another 10.5 months in the army.

i feel like schooling already.
but i swear this urge will change once i begin schooling.
thats just human.

i wish it never ends.

a timor barat run turned to a fun run.
short of the sceneries.
but still with the dark clouds,
and heavy wind blowing against the cheeks.
it was totally refreshing and perhaps,
the only run i never feel truly tired.

still, i feel a tedious two-and-a-half week rushing into my life.
we don't deny it, we accept it.
the key to a better life.
(though it just becomes more and tougher)

i think i give others an impression that i am... not serious in things i do.
the fact is i give my best in certain things that i want to achieve but just not in a very 'the-apprentice' way.
isnt it better to do something in a fun way and achieving the same objective.
while around me, i see people who love to act-one-seh. but i know i cant expect everyone to be the same because the world dont just revolves round one person. the world carries on, even without you and me. face it.
this week has been as per usual. but one thing that happened positively in camp may as well be the good work and effort put in by my platoon pioneers.
to be honest, i think its the first time i feel satisfied getting something done. i meant in-camp.
there are people who are trying to bring us down by sarcastic remarks and such are the people who think they are simply the best and the world cant do without them.

and now civilian problem, i need to get my professional indemnity insurance payment as an agent done. im seriously busy with stuffs and i cant understand why people are once again finding excuses to not get it done when they are absolutely free. i feel like just quitting this work cause i have no interest in it. and the lesson learnt here is - never do a job that doesnt interest you for the sake of friendship
treat it as an experience, (with money involved as well)
getting wasted.

i gave a miss to aloy's birthday too and im really feeling apologetic towards everyone of them.
cause im like informing them only at the very last minute, but im really tired from the NE NDP preview. so sorry! have 3 more shows to go and the actual parade will come in. after which, my saturdays will be all back =)

this is what me and the rest of the company are busy with every saturdays since april.

took us a long while to get this right before this NDP preview.

it may look like its a simple march but you have to believe it, we began the training as early as April.

we were somehow fortunate/unfortunate to be handed the task of marching with the longest frontline, different from the rest of the contingents even the guards-of-honor. and to make a direct left turn instead of wheeling left.

somehow, i enjoy watching the effect. maybe our effort pays off finally.

have been running these 2 days.
i haven changed and i hate running as i used to.
but i hate losing even more.
thats the reason i have been running to prepare for the 21km marathon.
have planned 2 routes around yishun, each 5km and 6.71km. and will be planning longer ones.
im trying so hard to make myself like running. kaos.

yesterday went well and the timing is as lousy as usual.
but tonight one was err...
did i calculate the distance wrongly, or
did i run faster because there were girls on streets, or
did i really improve.
i will second reason 2 =x
how the hell did i improve more than 5 minutes, that is like 1 round around the battalion.
perhaps the trump garden is the psychological barrier.
focusing on running makes me skip training on chin-ups.
dropped by 1 just now.

looking back before i enlist, my fitness is like, a joke.
zero, ZERO chin-up. and i hate losing, hate to be laughed at.
and now i can do 11. i was stuck at the point 6 for very long. but after the latest ippt incident, i became so determined to prove the arrogant asses wrong that i just keep training till i hit 11.
have been running so much that we would clock at least 20km in camp each week. just cant imagine how i am going to survive all these runs till end of September.
tomorrow shall run 2.4km to test my timing and see if i really did improve.

has been a month since last update.
had been to several birthday parties for the weekends.
and finally after weeks and weeks of NDP rehearsals we got a break on this weekend, something that we really deserved.

for the past month had seen through a lot of stuffs.
many of which i do not wish to mention because people will not change their lousy attitude towards work and life. they are born this way.
this month had many changes for me too.
people who used to be close are no longer close.
its a vicious cycle, because im not experiencing just once or twice.
how i change my perspective of work in the army etc.
lets just say i got back the feeling before i enlisted, the urge to get enlisted.

and for the past month i had not been having nightlife, saved really lot compared to previous months.
only for yesterday, went supperclub. it was my first time there since its opened and seriously, going to be the last. i cant even differentiate their genders. =x

NTU rejected my application this month and im still contemplating whether to appeal, or not.
not many things had gone my way and i must say its a really sucky month of may.

NDP 2010

the last time i've been to the NDP itself was during its rehearsal where primary 5 students were made compulsory to watch in 2000.
then 10 years later, im participating in it. its exactly a decade.
first weekend of rehearsal is over and theres nothing i can do to change anything anymore.
so just be positive about it.
only 80 people get to march for the army contingent and i must say we are the fortunate/unfortunate ones to be chosen among the many many many others in saf.

saturday night went to rebel. and now i realised the importance of O bar. the purpose of O bar is to contain the erhems. and now that its closed, they flock over to rebel. not that im against them, ok i am. but they stinks, period.

both are nice shows.

and so my 2 weeks of holiday camp ended in PLC.
was invited to 'Being Human Being' movie premiere at vivo.
but as usual, stay-in camp takes everything away.

the happy event is then the passing out parade on 5th march 2010.
missed the BMT one but finally im in the parade myself.
8 months have passed and im finally no longer a trainee, finally a commander.
feels happy but at the same time worried of what will happen in the coming days.
we will take one step at a time.

went to bai nian at mr goh's place yesterday with the poly peeps.
lost $$ but im very glad to save back a huge sum of money. =/

i wanted to travel but the money problem just puts everything off.

praises of a decade

its always good to hear compliments from other people.
you have the 心里暗爽 feel. haha
i know i can do certain things well but i am just too plain lazy.
i know i can.
exams seem to be a thing that happen long ago.
i am the typical 'last minute hug buddha's leg' type of person.
maybe i could have gotten good results instead of just the usual above average kind.
i prefer to be second than to be the first.
is it very weird?
i think it all lies with personal preferences.
thats the reason why i support liverpool instead of trophy-winning teams i guess.
its contradicting because who would want a team they support not to be champions.
back in the good old secondary schooling days, where we played soccer.
i would prefer missing goals than scoring.
people may find such thinking 'twisted' but i find it very --- normal.
but in some things, missing an opportunity equals missing your very only chance in life.
that explains the incomplete life i am leading.
someday it will change, or maybe not.
this time round, we will start from something small, then to big, and to bigger, and eventually biggest.

i am 2 months into omeprazole. and yet another 4 months to go.

the last entry for year 2009!
had wanted to switch to tumblr completely but i dont wanna give up the hundreds of entries i had in blogger.

2009 has been a bad bad year.
the date begins from 15 06 2009.
and then down with an unknown problem in myself.
had tried taking cab home from faraway places due to pains.
had vented anger on friends whom were just trying to help me.
i know that wasnt me but that excruciating pain simply changed myself into another person.
it was a horrible problem and i am so sorry.
but it was more horrible when people do not trust you.
on the other aspect, it had made me realised who they are, those that really do help. and understood the problem.
others who doubted it, should really wonder if i am willing to spend $130 on a test that i know i have no problems with it. it was just a mere 4 hours out of training. its an average of $32.50 per hour charge, and im not rich to begin with.
but we shall forget the bad stuffs that happened in 2009 as we finally step into 2010...

my resolution is just to have a good and smooth year ahead because im looking forward to 2011 more. the reason is simple, im spending a full year as an NSF, wishes are just not going to come true in my opinion. i wish for a no 'tekan' year - FAT HOPE. any kind souls to remind me when the period for enrolling uni begins will be appreciated.

lets have an enjoyable year in 2010.

back from the 6d5n of outfield camp.
was really a very shag experience
never ever been so tired in my whole life...
it was a very much unwanted yet valuable experience as well

its like rotting before enlistment, you hope to enlist faster.
upon enlistment, you hate army life and hope you can geng like other pple to down pes and slack off.
but after the outfield camp, you know you have been made a tougher person than any other boys who have not gone through this shit.
yes boys.

very glad with myself not falling out during this 6 days.
managed to endure thru.
but i know there is more to come. more to tank.

graduated on thursday 28 May 2009!
the very day we finished this 3 years of stressful course.

the graduation board is very small.

and wearing the attire is SUPER hot especially with the weather.

the group of boys. everyday also torture here and there.

after this 3 years,

a new chapter of life will begin !

went ubin yesterday for cycling.
i think the village-like living style is much more better than this bustling city life.
certainly.
i think its quite hard to relax in the city isnt it
if only life is simple. sadly none is.

began our cycling journey to dunno-where-the-hell place
got snake. got wild boar. mann. its the adventurous feel haha
i hit a rock while on a minor downslope. the rocky roads is sure damn hard to cycle on.
then had to go to the 村长 house to clean my legs. but 村长 is not there and the wild boar is uncaged so i dunno if he is still alive. hahaha
youzei flew off his bike while on a super steep downslope. and damn we miss the classic moment of him flying off.
the seafood there is not bad too.
except the price that they self-claimed, cheap. which obviously is not.

Thursday is my Graduation !
events will then pop up one by one.
until the very last one - enlistment

havent been updating cuz of the 2 weeks work.
and its over on sunday !

this is my my my... 400th post
like i started blogging so long ago and finally reached this number which may seem small to some haha.

after my contract ended on sunday,
went straight for another work on monday. its filming!
yea. went swissotel the stamford for a french drama filming which singapore may be intending to buy over. haha. was just a calafare yea yea... but its enjoyable because its an eye feast over at the location haha.
the french girls are so god damn hot ! =x
and they change right infront of you. okay okay dun be jealous.
luckily im a decent guy you see =)
after that, went for mongolian buffet at park mall. was quite late and very limited food was left.

the very next day, early in the morning went for another filming for ch5.
this time its with nat ho. a good experience there.
but would be better if theres felicia chin? haha !
wanted to go dallas chicken with the cunning jons and pple but the shop closed down @#$%!
madjack-ed instead. seriously, the food sucks.

but i learnt of some past incidents from the cunnings that turn me off from drinking now.

Day 12

I have been a very obedient boy and stayed home for 12 days consecutively this holidays.
This illness have taken away so many hours of my life, being confined in my house.
More days to go, at least it is recovering but still contagious at the moment.
Of course, I am not going to just play my days off after the recovery, finally its the chance to start work.

I think many dread wearing formal, but I love wearing formal to work haha. It just looks more smart wearing formal, doesnt it?

Just spent my days online watching shows, movies, chatting until I am super bored already.
But there are always some boliao people who want to piss me off.

I received twice and its really pissing me off.
I called to request to talk to the upper management and all they could say is PAY PAY PAY
without my own card nobody can borrow books on my behalf. yaya

have been really lacking of updates..
3 weeks have passed. cant really remember what i did haha.
firstly our CPTC BBQ @ ECP
thanks to the people who organised it =)

next is our trip to phuture... i went down despite having fever and swollen eye.

isnt it great to have such a friend ?! lol

phutured last night with many of them...
was really enjoyable but the following day is work again...
have been working for 6 days per week for 2 weeks already

have been lacking of sleep lately...
but let me start from 8th Nov updates...

we soccered on sat morning and then it was sentosa on sunday morning.it was the healthiest weekend since attachment.

on our way to express

beach volleyball !

after which we went to keppel bay to slack. i remember it was a damn long way to reach there, and we kena con to walk inside =x

14th Nov, friday night
went for bear BBQ and to boat quay...

15th Nov, sat night
went night cycling with ht and gary from yishun to jalan kayu passing by seletar airport.. seletar camp.. and blah blah
legs were darn tired after that activity

16th Nov, sunday night

watched quantum of solace with aug von kai duajiak & his gf

then went to eat rochor tau hwey at selegie

FINALLY... its time to rest =)

last week prawning...
managed to catch the FIRST prawn after around 1 hour half?
anyway it was damn long lah... but i caught 3 in the end okays =D
until i almost fell asleep... was super tired

this friday went dhoby's LiquidGold.
vict was working there. surprise eh.
so sat after our K we went there again.
seriously lack of $$ again. every weekend was like pub or club or stuffs.
all overnights and its costing a lot !
time to save and this coming weekend shall be money-saving yet healthy activity.
lets sentosa again =D !

after 1 week of attachment work...
its time to slack during the weekends !

fri night went geylang to eat...
dimsum... quite nice =D

sat was our BBQ and due to too many cars available..
all drove to geylang eat tau hwey...
both nights oso go geylang.. whats the motive haha.

mahjong awhile after back from tau hwey...
and then there goes the weekend...

3 months and 3 more weeks to end of attachment...
1 week juz seems so long now

my blog has 365 posts le ! like finally a year fully.
yaya i know its little haha.

but heres my graduation at CPTC !

exxonmobil attachment so far seems okay.
im basically doing some admin job only haha.
AND. the toilet there got pressurised nozzle water to spray at your asshole to wash for you !
so good ! toilet papers also have disinfectants.
definitely a good place to shit hoho.
if only the whole 4 months remain slack. nothing for presentation and logs.
but slack and get pay. not bad !
